Cafe Mam Coffee Tasting and Presentation

On Monday, May 19th, the Coos Head Food Co-op and Café Mam invite you to the Myrtlewood Room in the Coos Bay Public Library for a free presentation and coffee tasting from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

In celebration of their 35th anniversary, Megan Bassett, community liaison for Café Mam, will show a film about Fair Trade, share messages and a sampling of coffee from their partners in Chiapas, Mexico.

It’s Earth Month once again! To celebrate, join us at John Topits Park for a Stewardship and Education Event. This event will feature opportunities to pull invasive plant species, plant native plants, and engage in educational activities with several community partners including Coos Watershed, The South Slough Reserve, The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, The Coquille Tribe, SWOCC, The Beet, and others!
